The Java chat client will open in a new window. We've tested it on Windows, Linux and Mac and it works great. You should have the latest Java runtimes from Sun.

Thanks to J_Fresh, this will fix a lot of errors when running under Linux:

• You may need to make a symbolic link to the plugin in your browser's plugins directory
• Enter the following command to create the link for Mozilla...
• ln -s /usr/java/j2re1.4.2_04/plugin/i386/ns610-gcc32

Feel free to use any IRC client you want, but we recommend these:

• mIRC for Windows
• KVIrc for Linux
